In memoriam of Ralalasoanirina Laurette Raymonde (June 23,1936 – December 15, 2006, Antananarivo)

Dear Mother,

We dedicate this site to you, in memory of the treasure you blessed us.
How could we forget your words of wisdom, your endeavor to do everything in your power to provide education for your children, your life investment, even in hard times under difficult conditions.

” Education is wealth” you were used to say.

Our desire is to share the best lessons we learned from her and make her legacy live on for the future generations of Avaratrambolo, the village and the land of her ancestors: her final resting place.

.

Our Mission

Ny hazo no vanon-ko lakana ny tany naniriany no tsara.”

(If with a tree, you can make a canoe it is thanks to the soil it was grown in.)

We are committed to raise awareness on the importance of sustainable development and self management of resources applied in rural conditions.

Our Vision

We believe that the well-being of the population will depend on the success of a stable and reliable education system. When this latter is interwoven with health education and environmental awareness, its impact will affect a social change and an economic progress of the community at large.

Our Approach
  • Open a direct channel of communication with the local school administration as a hub of consultation with the villagers (via local and remote contacts).
  • Facilitate and nurture a positive and authentic relation with the local people by listening to their dreams and aspirations.
  • Collaborate with the community in providing the necessary assistance and resources in accordance with their needs.
